2-4pm at The Village Ballroom
700 NE Dekum Street, Portland, OR
Registration is $30
Space is limited!
We cannot wait to host our Spring clothing exchange in this beautiful and historic space on NE Dekum.
You must purchase a ticket and drop off items to exchange (see below) in order to participate.
You will register and then drop off your items during the week before (April 12-19); we will email drop off locations to registrants on April 11. This will give us time to assign tokens, sort, and display. Then you’ll show up on Saturday April 25 for 2 hours of shopping and socializing. After the exchange, you can get delicious dinner and drinks downstairs at LaVerne’s
WHAT TO BRING
Our guidelines have slightly changed—please read carefully even if you have been to a past event.
Each person will drop off up to 20 items to exchange. Items should be gently used, clean, and free of stains—if you wouldn’t give it to a friend, please don’t bring it! We will sort through items and reserve the right to not accept anything that doesn’t meet our quality standards; we will donate items we don’t accept.
We encourage you to bring clothing of all sizes. It's also likely that most participants (and therefore most clothing) will identify as femme, and we welcome anyone with this clothing preference.
We will assign you tokens for shopping based on what we accept and what you drop off:
4 tokens: high quality brands (e.g., Reformation, Jungmaven, Altar PDX, Sezane, Rudy Jude, Alex Mill, Hey Gang, Ilana Kohn, Doen, Babaa, Loup, Staud); vintage in excellent condition; high quality leather goods, shoes, and coats in excellent or new condition
3 tokens: middle quality brands (e.g., Madewell, Everlane, Nike, Eileen Fisher, Anthropologie, Free People, & Other Stories, Gap, J. Crew); vintage items in good condition; leather goods, shoes, and coats in good condition
2 tokens: unique fast fashion items in new/excellent/good condition
1 token: all other items
If you have any questions about items to bring or the logistics, don’t hesitate to reach out to us!
